The lag in SSBB is an issue with the game itself. I'd always recommend using ethernet over Wifi with the 360 though. You also have to buy the Wifi Adapter (it doesn't come with the 360 console).
Nintendo is new to the whole online thing so I wouldn't get my hopes up about playing an online Wii game perfectly.
i dont lag on any game on my computer, but SMBB lags like hell -.-
Mine does not have any problems...It may be your router I had to buy a better one myself.
