It seems now is the time to own a PS3.

With games coming in the Fall like LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Valkyria Chronicles, Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, and WipeoutHD.



Not to mention multi-platform games like Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero:World Tour, Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Pure, Call of Duty:World at War and Dead Space.



Even going into next year there all titles for the PS3 such as Infamous, White Knight Story, Heavy Rain, Last Remnant PS3, KillZone 2, a continuation of the Ratchet%26Clank future series, and if you're an importer Final Fantasy XIII.



Then there are multi-platforms for 09 such as Resident Evil 5, and Street Fighter IV.



Well established games are already on the PS3 such as Uncharted, and Metal Gear Solid 4



Without a doubt the holiday season for 2008 and going into 2009 has more upcoming games for PS3 then 2006 and 2007's PS3 list combined.It seems now is the time to own a PS3.
Agree, but the only thing that's stupid is (well for us Europeans) BC... If PS3 would have BC I would buy a PS3 instantly.And of course you're not a gamer if you don't play the best game of this gen, MGS4.It seems now is the time to own a PS3.

Your opinion is correct, the PS3 has a brilliant year ahead of it. I'll sound like a Cow here, but there's really nothing the 360 or Wii can do to match the PS3's 2008/09 lineup.

whats with all these ''time to own a ps3 thread''. yes the ps3 finally has a good fall lineup. pc/360/wii owners(although not this time lol) have been having great lineups for the past 2 years. $400 is still way too steep compared to the competition.
The PS3 will go out with a bang this year. It has the exclusives and great looking multiplats. Then in the new year it enters with another bang with Killzone 2. Couldnt be happier.

2009 is still a mega bomg,and if a price cut to 350$ its gonna be an ouch for 360(prolly' 360 by that will sell 25 mils,ps3 23 mils)

As far as I'm concerned, the 360's library is FAR more appealing to me compared to the crap coming out on the PS3. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have all new games compared to a few new titles and a few ports of titles almost a year old. :| Enjoy the sloppy seconds. :lol:

next year is when the ps3 starts dropin alot of heavy hitters
i may buy a ps3 but nothing on it can compare to gearsof war 2 in my opinion, however it may be doing better this year

Eh. For every decent PS3 game, the same game is on the 360 or there's a better one on the 360 almost like it. I would buy a PS3 for $150 if BR survives the digital streaming evolution and doesn't just die out, and I can get a used copies of the Resistance series.
