Interesting, but you are now flamebait. Have fun.Signs showing Xbox 360 is in a little tr ...
Infinite Undiscovery and Too Human were not big exclusive super hyped games.

Everyone was divided over Too Human and I didn't even know Infinite Undiscovery was even out until about a week after it was actually released....

Yeah, possibly. Makes me glad I only have $11 invested in my 360.
DVD format not cutting it?and BluRay is? Uncharted and Heavenly Sword are just as short as Xbox games:
|duh, you cut the price to move systems not for customer appreciation thanks captain. obvious
Fail. Flopping is a term used to reflect not meeting expected hype. Ninja Gaiden 2 ''flopped'', and still sold like crazy. Too Human is a huge ''flop'', but everyone of my gamer friends owns/owned a copy. All consoles drop prices over time, were they all recouping losses? The PS3 has Sony in the hole, why not drop the price then? PC is not the money maker on titles released for it. Those titles are released under the games for windows umbrella. Who makes windows?
Technology becomes cheaper, its a cycle. That explains the pricedrop. I would hardly call those titles huge. And even if the PC has some of the same games, the majority of these games are Games for Windows. Microsoft is fine.
DVD format not cutting it?and BluRay is? I just read the rest of your points and realized how idiotic this thread is, so much so that I regret ever posting in it.
360 still has alot of great games in its futurei think it will be around for atleast another 3 or 4 years
Everything on the PS3 flopped except MGS4.Price drop to recoup cost ? No, Sony not being able to lower cost of PS3 due to Blu Ray ? Yes.PC and 360 are very similar so its a logical step. That is if you are logical.DVD is fine, games like GTA4 and Oblivion prove that.MS thinking of continuing this mad console war ? They must be hurting...not

-Big titles flopping (Infinite Undescovery and Too Human)So, Lair and Haze flopped, does that make Ps3 a bad console ?

-Price drop only means M$ is trying to recoup loses from RRoD and other lost revenue. No, the Price Drop just makes it an even better choice for us consumers.

-PC is taking away all of M$ main exclusive titles reducing its overall value It still has more AAAE, AAE and AE than Ps3. Though I can see this is an issue for people that game on PC.

-DVD format not cutting it. Thats why its titles are too short (Gears for example) and Gears 2 is showing the limitations of the 360 (same 'ol game with a new coat of paint). If GTA 4, Oblivion, Crackdown, Assasins Creed, Halo 3 etc. can all fit on one disk I can't see a problem. And if there is why not just use 2 disks. Even 3 or 4. It really doesn't matter to me.
All console games are short now and this has nothing to do with DVD vs. Bluray. It's because of increased costs to develop for the systems. You people want excellent graphics, voice instead of text, great physics; all this costs money. Making a 30 hour game with all of this just is not feasible.

And do gamers care about that? No.
-Big titles flopping (Infinite Undescovery and Too Human) There are also big titles doing well. Tales of Vesperia?-Price drop only means M$ is trying to recoup loses from RRoD and other lost revenue. They have been in the black for a while now. The 360 has been very successful from their business model.-PC is taking away all of M$ main exclusive titles reducing its overall value. Not really. Most of those exclusives ''taken away'' come out months after the original. Plus most of those PC games are produced by Microsoft so they aren't losing any money.-DVD format not cutting it. Thats why its titles are too short (Gears for example) and Gears 2 is showing the limitations of the 360 (same 'ol game with a new coat of paint). What?! If anything Blu-ray isn't cutting it. Not enough improvement for the price increase.M$ is probably gearing up for the next box to recoup all of the losses from RRoD. They have already said they are working on the next Xbox, but Sony has also announced they are working on the PS4.Discuss.
DVD isn't the issue relating to how long a game is. Take Okami on the Wii, for example. That's a 60 hour game on a Wii Optical Disc. Then you have PS3 games on Blu-Ray discs that lost less than 10 hours. Then there's the PC taking away exclusive thingy you mentioned. That doesn't matter at all. Console gamers, for the most part, don't play PC games as much or at all. It's not troubling for a 360 fan to see them lose an exclusive to the PC while it is troubling for a PS3 when an exclusive is lost to the 360.Too Human and Infite Undiscovery flopping aren't as devasting as you like to believe, TC. Too Human was already disliked by many thanks to Dennis Dyack's sheer idiocy on message boards. Right now, it has a score in the 60's on MetaCritic, which isn't bad, it's just not recommendable. Then there's Infinite Undiscovery, which did disappoint many, but still has good reviews overall and is in the 70's on MetaCritic. Compared to other flops this generation, most of which were on the PS3, actually, Too Human and Infinite Undiscovery are masterpieces. Finally, the price cut you mentioned doesn't matter. It's just in response to the Wii's domination and Microsoft's drive to put out a SKU cheaper than the Wii. It's the second console this generation to receive a price cut, so again, it beat the PS3 there.
