I have yet to play LO,but both are 2 different type of jrpg's. LO seems like the standerd JRPG while Folklore is an action JRPG.
If you are into the standard jrpg, then Lost Odyssey is the way to go. I thought it was really good.

I own both, and Lost Odyssey is a heck of a lot better, and I mean it.
What are we going by reviews or opinons Folklore is underated and LO is overated=not score wise but opinon wise.I only played a demo of folklore and about an hour of LO so I can't really tell you in def.The turnbased battles and random batltles in Lo is not my cup of tea.FolkLore is great for a 2 game but not that much of a rpg.

Folklore is sooo repetitive. It's like DMC4. You have to roam the same environments as different characters. It's made by Game Republic, though, so... nuff said![/QUOTE]chill out man dmc4 is bad ass and fun that is why it is a great series.Game Republic made a good game then.If you can't handle a little repetitive play why are you playing rpgs.
