Wow gears really feels dated.

I think I was blinded by something the first time I played warhawk,uncharted, and RC. Always being a multi console owner I never thought I would fall into fanboyism. I think I did. I thought gears hung the moon, warhawk sucked and didnt even compare. Wow have times have changed I play my ps3 every day most recently Bionic commando, I heard the 360 controls sucked and with this game there is no room for error. So after playing warhawk for weeks and now trying to go back to gears I see how some people hated it. It feels so damn shallow, people complain about people not talking on psn. Well you know what, sometimes I prefer it. I will go trough 10 rooms on gears before I find people even worth talking to. The point is to me,it really seems like the ps3 is pulling ahead. That is all that matters ME. People bash the bluray player but it really does add to its worth and makes it worth while. I got side tracked but the point is gears feels so dated at this point that my hype for gears 2 dropped.Wow gears really feels dated.

I wont actually say dated, but one thing for sure, Gears 2 looks like there is not any improvement whatsoever, just its now brown, and a little few moves here and there. nothing much. I wont be surprised if it flops.

Your opinion =/= fact, though. Btw, Gears was NEVER one of my favorite games, so I never had that addiction.

I know it was weird ...... I was playing gears it was great , two years enjoying the online.. then suddenly it hit me...it was brown textures were popping in and out everywhere. The draw distance was pissing me off. I realized I was only playing against 4 other players and that Cliffy B was an *** At that moment I realized what I had been longing for an overpriced console with a library that was inferior to the console I owned. So I bought a blueray player, that also plays games and enjoyed the PS3's 8 hour long exclusive games and hanen't been happier since..You know that's exactly what you fanboys soundlike right?
I cant stand the fact that no one ever talks on PSN....and when they do it is full of static and reverb......Warhawk is fun.....but damn... it gets old after awhile ..Only time I played Gears online was with friends in co-op...Still fun to this day..

Im still playing it since day one, the game is amazing, soo funn still.Im soooo hyped for GEARS2 no other game can hold my interest
i still play gears and i think its still the funnest game this gen and the only one i keep going back to. so do hundreds of thousands that have kept the game in the top 5 for the past 2 years on live. so clearly this is just your opinion
Well its how old of a game now? Gears 2 is right around the corner.
I enjoyed Warhawk again once they implemented trophies and in game music but that only lasted two weeks, just got bored of it again.Now on to Socom :D
I cant wait for gears 2.I dont understand why some of u are comparing warhawk to gears.Warhawk is an ok game at best and shouldnt even be brought up when trying to compare with gears of war.Like someone said earlier,everyone has there opinions so have at it.
I know what you mean. I got rid of gears ages ago but I played it over a friends house not long ago and it looks good still, but not great. UT3 beats it.though dont get me wrong when it came out I was wowed by its graphics and loved the game.I also enjoy warhawk though. imo the online is miles ahead plus you can do splitscreen online which is just brilliant.
I nearly fell into a coma after playing Gears of Wars online.That's how boring it is.
