yeah Chrono Trigger was amazing... FF7 is also one of my all time favs... but i got to say that PS2 had so many great rpgs its hard to choose...
I think for me it was Chrono Cross.
I think for me it was Chrono Cross.
was that a true sequel to chrono trigger? or more like a new game based in same universe?
Planespace Torment is still my favourite. Sadly, nothing in the last decade has topped it. :(
Fallout 2.
Yeah, how did you miss it?Chrono even shows up and everything. It was amazing, but like Star Ocean, and Final Fantasy, you aren't the same character.Doesn't mean it was fantastic. IN Trigger, you explore TIME. Different Time periods, from the future to the past.
IN CROSS, you explore Alternate dimensions.Parallel words. You are a slider.
KOTOR
FF7
Baldur's Gate 2.

Baldur's gate for wrpg and ff7 for jrpg.
Planescape: Torment, even though I only got around to playing it a year ago. Better late then never!
Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.
.
Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.
That doesn't qualify for an RPG. If it did, I would have chosen OoT! The Zelda franchise is a action/adventure hybrid.

Gothic 1 and 2
Chrono Trigger, no doubt.
