PS3 - LittleBigPlanet.I could go on with loads more of ''justification'', but I see no reason too. LittleBigPlanet alone is enough to justify the purchase. =P. But really, I bought it for several reasons. #1 the game line-up for now and in the future. (Resistance 1+2, Warhawk, Motorstorm 1+2, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Metal Gear Solid 4, Socom: Confrontation, Ratchet and Clank: TOD, GT5, God of War 3, MAG, Killzone 2, FF13, all of its hit PSN games, plus the great multi-plats... etc. etc..)Some other reasons: Free Online play, a online community with more mature players than immature, Great multimedia functions, Web Browser, the Blu-ray capabilities itself...Justify your console purchase.
360 - Halo 3Wii - Mario, Metroid Zelda
ps3-mgs4360-came out 1 year earlier and got it for 200 dollars
PC - always winsPS3 - great future360 - great online.
You guys seriously bought a whole console for one game?
360 - Xbox Live (ability to play online with my friends)Ps3 - major exclusive Playstation sequels (Killzone, FF, MGS4, God of War etc.)those were my main reasons
You guys seriously bought a whole console for one game?
I need my Halo
You guys seriously bought a whole console for one game?
I was thinking the same thing.
360 - First nextgen console releasedWii - Zelda. MetroidPs3 - Like have all consoles, always some good exclusive i want
I dont need to justify my choice. Please grow up!
Ps3 - major exclusive Playstation sequels (Killzone, FF, MGS4, God of War etc.)those were my main reasons
Yup, This is basically it for me.
PS3: The console is getting better every month. Firmware updates are giving it features that rival XBL, all while the online remains free. The console is also very reliable and great exclusive games are finally being produced. Doesn't hurt that it can can also play blu-ray disks.Wii: Makes a great secondary console, has great downloadable games, and.................. the motion controls are pretty cool at time.
I dont need to justify my choice. Please grow up!
1. Don't troll2. Why enter a thread you are not interested in contributing too?
Teh games....
xbox - it wqas the first console of this generation so was the first one i purchased. the hardware issues have never reared their ugly head for me and mine's never broken down or scratched a disc.wii - i was caught up in the hype and snapped one of these up with the intention of getting the good games once they were released. however, after only really being interested in super mario galaxy and mario kart i figured my console was pretty redundant after fuklly completing these so sold it on ebay about 3 months ago. okami was good but i didn't have time to sit and play for long periods as rpgs so often requireps3 - i snapped one of these up from the last of the 60gb stock with backwards compatability because i have ps2 games that i still like to play from time to time. i also had cravings to play f1 games so ps3 satisfied my need for that too. i also enjoyed uncharted but still only own 3 games for ps3 and am waiting for the big names to show themselves in 2009 (weren;t the big names meant to be showing themselves in 2008 though?)overall i enjoy my xbox the most as it's got the most games i enjoy and the online service is miles better because of the ease of use and the headset you get straight out of the box
I dont need to justify my choice. Please grow up!
There was no need for that. If we all grew up we wouldn't be here on SW or be playing video games now would we?
You guys seriously bought a whole console for one game?
well yeah why not? I bought my N64 back in the day for Zelda and Mario64.all other games were a bonus
Ok every console has it's downside. Wii has lots of shovelware and not enough good games atm and is underpowered. PS3 is too expensive and shares too many multiplats with the much cheaper Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 has had crippling hardware issues because it was rushed to the masses a bit too early.Knowing this you bought one, several, or all of them. So tell us the reason those negative factors didn't stop you from purchasing your system, or wont factor in when you do get one or all of them.
Hhhhmm.. ok.XBox 360: The games, plain and simple. The system has all the games I like to play, plus the multiplats play and look better on the 360 for the most part. It also has the best online server and the controller fits like a glove in my hands. It plays DVD movies upscaled to 1080p, so I have no need to buy Blu-Ray movies.PS3: I got a incredible deal on Ebay for my 60GB PS3. Otherwise, I still wouldn't have a PS3. It was an offer I couldn't refuse at a price anyone else would have grabbed. Plus the PS3 has many exclusives that I must play in the future. I get a cheap Blu-Ray play in the process as well. Very cool.Wii: The only reason I own a Wii is because I like Nintendo's exclusive games. Super Mario Galaxy is a blast. SSBB is awesome. I love Metroid and Zelda as well. I'm still waiting for a new Mario Golf. Plus the Wii is getting some nice JRPG games that I want to play. So it's a good system to have for those reasons.
because I got it as a gift
