PC gaming all always be better than consoles in my opinionI have been 0-2 with consoles this generation: Xbox 360- RRoD (haven't even bothered calling customer support yet...I never really use it so I keep forgetting)PS3- NO GOOD GAMES(I can't stand the MGS series)..... I have been using it for movies ever since I bought it.I am never buying a console again after this generation...I've lost all faith in them.reasons why no console will ever be as ...
Ok we get it but please stop making these types of threads  lol
PC - DRM crippled games. I have installed Spore 3 times now I have to call EA and beg for another installation and provide proof of purchase.I'm fine with using my PC for other things besides gaming.

PC gaming doesn't need them Intel and AMD have found other game devs replace crytek and epic games. I have to say good luck to all the console games who want to compete with the pc.

Spore has DRM? Doesn't that have a history of disabling virus software? In other news, If I were to game on PC (I no longer own one just a laptop), then I would be severely handicapped. Most of the games I play are console exclusives, and if they're not, it doesn't matter because I HATE playing games on PC unless they're RTS.
Most games these days have some kind of DRM but it's becoming even worse with online activation and install limits. Spore, Bioshcock, Mass Effect, Crysis and the list goes on. Most games also use securerom. Maybe that's one of the reasons PC gamers pirate so many games to avoid dealing with those things.Look at Amazon player review of Spore.http://www.amazon.com/Spore-Mac/dp/B000FKBCX4/ref=pd_sim_vg_34
Most games these days have some kind of DRM but it's becoming even worse with online activation and install limits. Spore, Bioshcock, Mass Effect, Crysis and the list goes on.
Slow down... I won't pretend to be enamored with install limitations, however, that's not true with Crysis and nothing has been confirmed with Warhead -- please share if you've recently found confirmation.Should we expect Crysis Warhead to use SecuROM as a DRM solution? Bernd Diemer: We're still looking at that. We're not sure what solution we're going to go with. In fact, I view the Crysis + Crysis Warhead on Steam announcement as potentially a positive sign regarding Warhead's DRM decision and install limits. Maybe not, we'll see, but it's unknown at this point. Also note, the install limits for BioShock were simultaneous installs only, lifetime installs were unlimited. Those simultaneous limits have since been removed.
Securerom is in almost all PC games. It requires the DVD to be in the drive to start the game. Crysis does have install limits if you get the digital copy.Steam is worse and some people don't realize how many rights are taken away when you buy games from there. Maybe they don't mind. Instead of owning a tangible product that you can do whatever you like with after purchasing you are limited to a digital copy tied to an non-transferable online account. I like to give my games away to friends and family when I am done with them so prefer to own a limitless physical copy.
Cool. I was looking for an excuse to jump on the PC bandwagon...
Agreed, all of the tech inside consoles is trickle down of product developed for PC gamers.
PC gaming is technologically superior to console gaming. It's as simple as that. It's inarguable.~V
Securerom is in almost all PC games. However, you should have stated EA's download service as it's a ''feature'' of that, not Crysis. My copy of Crysis is not install limited, obviously not all are.
Steam is worse and some people don't realize how many rights are taken away when you buy games from there. Like most everything, Steam has it's advantages and disadvantages. The arguments you are making? I've made the exact same ones in the past :P Still legit as far as being a preference, and in fact, I still purchase most of my games via online retail. However, Steam offers some great features and is something I envision myself using much more frequently in the future!

The reason the games was good is becaue the hardware companies helped.
I have always preffered developers such as Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, Square, and they are mostly console game devs. So yeah, you're opinion that PC is better is just that, your opinion. I still think consoles win everytime. Even hardcore PC devs like Epic have said they're moving more towards console development in the future. I'm not going to debate with hermits, they need to validate their expensive purchases on a almost daily basis by making topics like this.I prefer console games over PC games, always will. It's been that way for 20+ years, having a opinion on something doesn't make it fact, remember that next time you create a new topic. That goes for all you hermits.
PC gaming is technologically superior to console gaming. It's as simple as that. It's inarguable.~V
No one in their right mind would deny that, it is a fact. However, this does not mean that PC gaming is always the best option. For someone like me that likes the console exclusives, prefers a controller and like to play games on my couch in front of my 50'' HD TV, my 360 and PS3 suit me just fine.
Consoles have great games,so if we are PC gamers doesnt mean we HATE anything elseI just hate when some 12 y old newb comes and say ''omg bioshock pwns everything else'' but he never played system shock or when they say ''omg final fantasy is best rpg (and only they played lol) ever'' while its hardly rpg and its nowhere near Planescape Torment

I think anyone that misses out on either PC or console gaming is cutting themselves short because they are missing out on some outstanding games.
