well, out of pure curiosity and frustation of finishing all the good and up to par games(mostly RPGs) on my PSP... i;ve decided to have quick lookie inside my psp... only to find out, that my PSP screen, is/was a brand of SHARP... hahahahahah...is sharp a branch of sony??? or what???hmmm... mind voogling... ^^ have YOU opened up your PSP?
Absolutely not. I like my PSP is one piece. And no, Sharp is not a part of Sony, but its not uncommon for hardware manufacturers to get parts from other places. This is a good reason why it is branded Sharp: http://www.businessweek.com/globalbiz/content/feb2008/gb20080227_755155.htm?chan=globalbiz_asia+index+page_technology have YOU opened up your PSP?

I'm not in the habit of voiding the warranty for things I spent good money for.
From what I understand there are many companys making TVs but very few making the glass for the screens..I think there are only 3 companies that produce the actual screens for the TVs being produced..I know that Samsung makes the glass for the Sony Bravia TVs..
