Lol, I had to make this thread! I like gta series, and saint row series the best. but godfather was fun too. I liked how you can grab people and bang them off of stuff and throw them into fire lol. scarface was okay. i played it for the wii, but the wii controls were annoying. crackdown was okay, not the best. mafia was alright but missing too much. mafia 2 is coming out soon by the way. OH YEA dont forget driver series. never got into the driver games! Haven't played all of those games, so I can only comment on the ones that I have played.GTA: Thought that the PS2 games were all great, I had a LOT of fun playing them all. SA was my favorite, but they all were great in their own ways. LCS (I played the PS2 port) was also very fun, and surprisingly good for an unchanged port of a handheld game. It didn't have as much to do outside of the main story, but it was still very fun. 4 was good, but lacked the fun of the PS2 games, and even LCS. It focused too much on making the world realistic, and not enough on mission variety and fun gameplay. I think they can do a lot with this realistic format in the future, but as of right now I'm more excited about SR/SR2 than I am in anything GTA related.Crackdown: Not a great game in anyway, but still very fun in its own way. It lacked enough structure to hold it together IMO, and doesn't last as long as I wanted it to, but I did have a lot of fun playing through the different aspects of the game. I do hope that they end up making a sequel to it sometime though, because I did think it was very good for what it does, I just prefer the GTA-style structure of most console sandbox games.
Godfather Blackhand Edition (Wii version) is the most fun out of the games I've played, I think GTA is massively massively over-rated, the only fun thing is going on killing sprees and pratting about, the actual gameplay of the older ones was terrible and just made the main story unplayable for me. Saints Row was dull, Driver 1 was a fun game back in the day, never played one after that, and by the sound of it that's a good thing. Crackdown looks fun, never played that so I have no opinion on it, Mafia and Scarface-same as Crackdown, look fun but never played. Anyway, Godfather, it was just fun. The controls are great, most responsive fighting controls on Wii, the aiming was like GTA4 but 10 times better because of the accuracy the Wii's pointer gives, the executions are great, story is awesome, and it's like 25 hours long. Only letdown really is the lack of crazy moments like you get in GTA's killing sprees.

I've only played GTA, Driver, Scarface, %26 Godfather. GTA wins hands down. Driver in a distant second. The first 2 were good but Driv3r was ass. Godfather was HORRIBLE! I rented that from Gamefly and sent it back the same day. Scarface was bad but not as bad as Godfather

the rest are wannabe's, but those 3 did their own thing and set themselve apart from each other in amazing ways.oh and i'm talking about the Mafia on PC, which was incredible, i've heard the console versions were lacking though.
