PS3 Is Quality and Xbox 360 Is Quanity

First, sure the Xbox 360 has good online, but why pay for online when I can have it free. Sure you could argue that the Xbox Live is better than Playstation Network, but has Playstation Network been around as long as Xbox Live, no. Give the Playstation Network some time and then talk about which is better. So saying Xbox Live is better is pointless no matter which way you look at it, because the Xbox 360 has had a head start. Second, the PS3 design besides the Wii is the only one that looks futuristic and very appealing, the Xbox 360 design look very weak and has less appeal if any. Sure you could argue that a video game console is for playing games and not looking at, but do I really want a poorly designed unit that looks like a Fisher Price toy as a investment.Third, the PS3 comes with pretty much every thing you need thats important except for maybe the HDMI cables in some cases. You can argue that the Xbox 360 is the cheapist system, but it will make it cost more to get every thing you need plus Xbox Live. For example, the PS3 has built in Wifi and even the Wii does, all you have to do with your PS3 is scan the area for a Wifi connection and your already able to start making your Playstation Network account. So no need to pay for a Wifi adaptor like you would for your Xbox 360, no need to pay for online either, you've got every thing just by buying the PS3 system alone. Not only that, you can do basic stuff like use a Printer on your PS3, sure you can argue that you could just use your computer, but not every one has a high speed computer and even if they do unless its in hibernate your going to have to wait for your computer to load up every time you turn it on, the PS3 however is instantly turned on and ready to go. How many people who put a background on there Xbox 360 actually see most of it always, when using the menu sreen (crickets), thats what I thought. With the PS3, you get to see the whole entire background the whole time you use the menu screen, you get to change and custimize it to your personal liking. You get to access the internet and save files that the PS3 supports directly to your hard drive, the Xbox 360 cant even go on the internet, let alone save the stuff to the hard drive. Sure you can argue about just using your computer, but why do that when you can just instantly access the internet by searching for a Wifi connection around your neighborhood and then going on the internet instantly. Sure you can argue and say the Xbox 360 exclusives are better, but can you honestly say that the PS3 doesn't have unique exclusives even if not many exclusives like the Xbox 360. All the exclusives on the PS3 are unige and original not all this stuff that seem the same like on the Xbox 360. The PS3 support Blu-ray Disc, are you insane enought to actually compare Xbox 360 DVD games with PS3 Blu-ray Disc games even if no game but probable Metal Gear Solid 4 has actualy used up all the space to each true potential. You still can't compare a DVD game with a Blu-ray Disc game and its funny how people actually try to.PS3 Is Quality and Xbox 360 Is Quanity
Big Rigs. You've got to change that title again now.PS3 Is Quality and Xbox 360 Is Quanity
wow you create threads without opinon at all and finally when you do give a opinion you come out with a bucketload! lolthis time dont change the thread title! keep it as it is and you are on your way to making many many more threads.on topic reliability is the ps3. better games is xbox360. more popular is the wii.you have some good and bad points in there all of which are argueable
So when will SW learn.. Under level 5 users shouldn't be allowed to create topics.
So when will SW learn.. Under level 5 users shouldn't be allowed to create topics.
lol but yeah he actually makes some pretty good points. this might be the first legit insightful topic hes ever made. of course now hell change the topic in another 15 mins so ill look like im off topic.
He makes some pretty good points and then theres a few odd ones. I actually laughed out loud when he mentioned the printer.
yet the 360 has more AAA games?
yet the 360 has more AAA games?
did you read his post at all??
This was obviously copy and pasted from another thread from another forum. None of it really supports your thread title. The truth of the matter is XBOX360 actually does have both quality and quantity in it's games aswell as features. PS3 is just a multimedia machine not originally designed for a gamer. PS3 may have some quality games but it lacks the quantity part. It's a load of rubbish if you compare it to the king of lastgen, the PS2. The XBOX360 is living up to being the next PS2 more than anything but it's no quite there yet.

yet the 360 has more AAA games?
did you read his post at all??
i read it. he lists a bunch of features everyone uses their pc for while mentioning nothing of the most important thing: games. everyone who has a ps3 has a pc. i dont care about borwsing the internet with a controller, or printing from my ps3. this is completely irrelevant and useless.

yet the 360 has more AAA games?
did you read his post at all??
His post is just pointless, OMG A PRINTER WORKS ON A CONSOLE ... im sure that's AAA right there.
After reading 8 paragraphes I never once got to the part where you talked about games or any sort of specific games.
Big Rigs. You've got to change that title again now.
so youre the reason he constatnly changes the titles of his topics because youre the one constatnly going off topic.you are exposed.
you guys are all right he did never get to talking about games.

Haha. Sir it was just this once, I swear!
First: Sony has been talking about Home for a long time but still has not delievered. I rather pay a small fee for something thats out now and has delievered the goods.Second: Sure the PS3 looks better but then again it's also a massive piece of equipment that looks like it has a hump. Such a silly thing to argue about but since you brought it up. The Wii looks like a $20 dvd player, the PS3 looks too big and bulky, while the 360 keeps it simple but still keeps a clean edge.Third: You bring up the Live fee again so I'll refer you to First. I do wish MS would add the Wifi to the newest models but I use a wired connection so I don't care. I would not mention the Wii in this regard as it can't even play a dvd movie. Talk about missing a basic feature.Your stuff at this point I don't know if I should argue on the 360 side or a PC. Personally I don't turn my PC off so I can look up stuff faster then you waiting for your PS3 to turn on. And who cares about a bloody background? In regards to exclusives, you really think the PS3 ones are all original and unique, are you serious? Your two main ones are a FPS and a third person shooter. The upcoming Little Big World (I think thats it) mixes it up a bit but just like the 360, you have 95% of the same genre as the multi-platforms.MGS4 used up all the space because it had so many movies and I'm talking tons of movies. I do not know for a fact and I highly doubt you can show me some sources that games are using the full space of a Blu-ray disc. I think it's easy to prove this as generally games look the same or better on the 360. So, it's not all about space that Sony pushed for when the console first came out. Dev's know this and it shows in nearly all multi-platforms.In summary, your post does not bring anything new to the table and shows that you are lacking information in quite a few areas. Personally, a PS3 can not replace a PC for general internet and it can not beat the 360 in games. Quick proof will show you in sales of multi-platform games. Quick example, Madden 09 sold 1million copies on the 360 while the PS3 sold around 645k. We could look up the sales for other major games like this but I hope you get the hint.
You stated a lot of hrdware facts, but being important to a gamer is a matter of personal opinion. I own both and like both consoles. The PS3 is aesthetically more pleasing and I enjoy playing Uncharted, HS, and MGS4. But multi's and online is what I use my 360 for. And it looks cool on the shelf above my PS3. I could care less about backgrounds, I'm searching or using an application anyway. This sounds like last gen. The Xbox hardware was stronger then the PS2, but the PS2 had the jump and support.
