Its wierd, ive had 2 360's (3 counting the elite i just bought, gave one away when i was stationed overseas) and they never had ANY hiccups, i dont doubt that it exists, but i highly doubt its as widespread as some people make it out to be. Ive had more PS2's DRE than the RROD
That sucks, I know how it feels to get RROD. It's unfortunate that 2 of the Big Three (Sony and MS) are notorious for making crappy products.

Did it fall or did you hit it with something accidentally. If done at the right angle something small could have messed it up. MAybe it's something like that, but as long as it's working I don't really think you have much of a problem.
