Lots of high profile games release on the same day, usually because Tuesdays are large ''Release'' days for media movies, games, music it all comes out on tuesdays and with only 4 a month it's bound to happen that multiple games release on the same day.

For the most part, they release on Wednesday, unless the games ship on Monday, then they release on Tuesday. Movies usually ship on Monday's, and release Tuesdays.

Yep, and these are the two titles I will be buying that day. Because we cannot forget what else comes out that day: Bioshock PS3Eternal Sonata PS3Far Cry 2LegendaryCastlevania: Order of EcclasiaStar Ocean: The First Departureand others.
Doesn't matter though, most people only have one of the consoles whether 360 or PS3. Thus, they really have no choice if they want one or the other.

[/QUOTE]True but tuesday is still general release date, lots of areas just don't receive the releases until the day after because of shiping crap, but the release date is the Tuesday meaning any advanced shipments *wich happens alot for high profile games* meaning the store has had the game for up to a week ahead of time, that tuesday is the go ahead to sell.We had Rockband 2 for 5 days prior to release just sitting...waiting...taunting us!
