How will the 360 Elite compete with PS3' ...

Hey guy's 360 Elite owner here, i'm wondering what else this new PS3 coming out this fall will have aside from a bigger hard drive, if it has the same hardware and backwards compatibility and sd slots as it's old 60-gig model i think my precious Elite won't be at the top of the heap anymore.I mean i know that us 360 owners are getting a completely new graphical interface to replace the blade system this fall with a software update but will that be enough to compete with PS3's Home software update combined with their new 160-gig system.I just don't know, Sony can slip in to the lead with all this combined with certain exclusives and our looming R.R.O.D problem, it's times like this where i worry about having made the right choice my self or even sliding down to last place in the console wars. How will the 360 Elite compete with PS3' ...
Price cut.. which already happened! How will the 360 Elite compete with PS3' ...

Why would a game console need to compete with an overpriced blu-ray player?
Why would a game console need to compete with an overpriced blu-ray player?
Hey-Ho Mr.Bias! The 160GB has ucnharted bundled, its a pretty sweet deal.I watched the Liepzig sony's side and they got some hot stuff going there way.
plus the ps3 hardrives are upgradeable so you could eventually have a 500gig hardrive if you really wanted.
^This is true, like myself in which I own a 60gig version PS3 replaced with a $500gig Harddrive. It was well worth it.
I have a 500gb BC PS3

=D
They'l bring out a new hard drive, just as they did for the proand yes, all the threads you have posted so far would suggest your a fakeboy
plus the ps3 hardrives are upgradeable so you could eventually have a 500gig hardrive if you really wanted.
OK, so its ok for a PS3 owner to upgrade with a hard drive, but anyone who buys the Arcade for $199 cant upgrade without anyone (usually PS3 owners) saying ''whats the point'' or ''the arcade is useless''??? So is the 20, 40, 60, or 80gb PS3 useless since you need to upgrade because of all the installs??? I mean, isnt it the same concept as Arcade owners running out of space on the memory card because of arcade games, or game saves??? Just a thought..........

PS3's use regular 2.5'' SATA drives, which means you can get 320Gig's for about $100. How much is the 120 gig hard drive from Microsoft?Edit* Just looked it up, it's about $150 for the 120gig HDD from Microsoft.

Same thing applies to the arcade. Like in the many threads about installs, and people say they feel sorry for the 40gb owners, and the response is always ''they can just upgrade'' well so can the Arcade owners.
160Gb PS3? The casuals must be complaining about those mandatory installs. Instead of spending ad monies on showcasing a new PS3, how about they spend that money educating people on how to swap their hard drives

The 160 GB PS3 is the one that needs to compete. It's another new sku and is the highest priced for any console.

It will be the same PS3 just a bigger hard drive. 360 elite is still top.
