Well, you have to admit that the 95% of all the mods out there is pure amateur non-working crap :)
Sometimes you have to go though tons of garbage to find something really valuable.

Yes, very nice. It's really cool to have a community that enhances the games for the better every once in a while Since I'm not exactly living in a lifestyle that promotes pc gaming at the moment, I still chose my consol for gaming though, mods or no mods.Maybe in the future.
Made Oblivion a much better game.

I find it funny how someone makes a anti-something thread, and then someone else makes a pro-something thread to refute it, usually saying ''to those who say etc.''. It's just funny because of how many times it happens on system wars.I agree though TC, mods are one of the main reasons PC gaming is so great, they enhance games so much and not just graphically but a whole bunch of other crap. I loved doing the Myriad Islands modding on Vice City, changing the whole game up.
The next thing I will do right now is download all these amazing mods for Oblivion which include slightly improved graphics, beautifully decorated houses in which you can sleep, pretty women in underwear and new loading screens. I'm sure all this content made by the fine community will add endless hours of astonishment in Oblivion and in my pants.
Don't think I would have played through Oblivion without the mods I used, a few of them were neccesary, I never got that hardcore one, but I did have about 20 in the end.

Football manager 08 on xbox 360. meh.On PC. It's amazing, why? Mods. Sup par game, with made up emblems. With mods = The game that 95% of non nerd men in britain think is the best thing since sliced bread.#FACT.Mods rule all.(no, not you... GS mods)

I definitely wouldn't have played Oblivion for 200 hours if it wasn't for mods.

95% of anything user-made is going to be that way. Youtube, LBP, Spore creatures, GHWT songs, custom maps... most all of all of them are going to suck.
