Molyneux: ''There's low spots in Fab ...

''Molyneux made the surprising admission during our exclusive interview with him at a recent London press event.

''There's low spots in the game,'' Molyneux explains. ''It's no one's fault that these low spots are there, it's just there's a lot to this game.''

He then explains other gripes he has with Fable II. ''I think the lip-sync is pretty bad, you know, the quality of the animation falls off, you know, quite a lot, I think the navigation can be a bit dodgy sometimes, I think the dog can... get a bit fractured sometimes.''

Check out the full interview to find out why he feels these flaws won't matter, what games''

That sad he comes out and says the game is flawed!

Like every game ever made?Molyneux: ''There's low spots in Fab ...
Like every game ever made?
Well yeah, but does the dev usually admit it? No, especially when it's Molyneux.

I think he learned his lesson about over-hyping games.
The last time Pete Moly way OVERHYPED it. People thought they would see trees grow, and whatnot. This is the opposite approach, maybe it will help the games sales.
If they know about these problems then why not fix them? No, they just rather ship it out know knowing there is stuff they could fix.
i think bashing his own games is one of his fetishes?? Hes been bashing fable 2 since E3....maybe its because so he can kill the hype a lil...cause hype ruined fable 1....
Molyneux has balls.
Yeah, but i'm still surprised by his modesty. I would expect him to say ''Fable 2 is flawless'' before saying it has issues.
Here he goes again, next week he will be telling us how the stars will align in real time with the game.

Like every game ever made?
Well yeah, but does the dev usually admit it? No, especially when it's Molyneux.
I think he is specifically doing this to avoide getting trashed on the internet for creating false expectations for the original Fable.
Is there footage of him saying these things? Because, I can hardly believe Molyneux admitted that his game wasn't the savior of gaming.I guess Molyneux has changed then...
If Molyneux is saying his game has flaws... you know something's wrong... ;)
He's acting humble this time around. I'm not sure if that is a good sign or a bad sign.
If Molyneux is saying his game has flaws... you know something's wrong... ;)
No it means hes trying the avoid the backlash of the last game which was actreally really great but got burried under false expectations.
That's not sad, that's an incredibly good thing. I was tired of watching him wheeze about the inevitable greatness of his game.Molyneux....in human form? What's next, Itagaki makes the shocking admission that his games' camera/platforming sucks nuts?
come on people. stop doubting these things, the BIGGEST critique of any artist is the artist themselve,s THEY see all the flawswhich is the main cause to delays, but the game cant be delayed again I dont think, and these flaws arent obviously big enough to delay the game or ruin it

http://www.oxm.co.uk/article.php?id=6171Oo
Like the guy who made MGS4. ;)
What I also like is that he's leaving in a lot of surprises for us players. Other games basically give you the entire story in their previews. I want to go into a game going ''Whoa! That's a cool feature!'' rather than going into the game looking for features you already know about ''Hey why isn't this tree growing in real time??''
There's hype, then there's over-hype, then there's admitting you aren't pleased with your own product shortly before it goes to retail. Here's to hoping he is being modest a la Kojima-san pre MGS4 launch, cuz so far my reservations are being supported by these comments.
