People really need to stop saying '' ...

We're in the seventh generation of consoles. This isn't 2006 anymore. Stop saying ''next-gen consoles'' because there are no next-gen consoles right now. You know what a next-gen console could be? Playstation 4. That would be a next-gen console. Because it's the NEXT GENERATION, and NOT THIS ONE. 360 and PS3 are current-gen consoles. Say it a few times, and let it sink in. Current gen. Current gen. Current gen. People really need to stop saying '' ...

I haven't seen people say ''next-gen'' for the current-gen consoles in a long while. :| I say next-gen now though when referring to the successor to the PS3/360/Wii, so I'm guessing many people are using the term ''next-gen'' in that case as well. But just because I don't see it doesn't mean it isn't happening of course...

Its worse when you see ''Next-gen graphics'' on the box for a game. I believe Oblivion has it on there lol.

ps 3 and xbox 360 is teh old gen. 280 gtx and 4780 x2 is current gen. wiii is a dinosaurs like yoshi

A lot of press releases make two mistakes at once which annoy the hell out of me, by saying that a game is ''for next-gen platforms, and the Wii''.
I thought we were past this already.
